Hard to believe we’re mid September already! But here we are and our monthly specials won’t be here much longer. So stop in to enjoy them!

Dhokla: steamed chickpea-flour cakes that our spongy and fluffy. Perfect for an appetizer or snack, they’re served with green chutney and are also vegan and gluten free.

Dabeli Sliders: a favorite street food snack, Dabeli are soft, seasoned potato patty served on sweet Hawaiian rolls with sweet tamarind date and tangy green chutneys, then rolled in crunchy sev and masala peanuts for a chaat-like flavor explosion in each bite. Soooo good! Come see સ્વાદ એવો કે ઘેલો કરે! શું છે આટલો બધો ક્રેઝ? These are vegetarian but contain gluten and dairy.

Last week we had some amazing milestones on our team! @hariiiiiii_k celebrated 2 years with us and @therealaurryl celebrated 7!!! It’s incredible to have such long tenured staff on the team! They know the ins and outs better than I do for sure! I never would’ve imagined that Aurryl would start during our very first few months in business and stay till today. It’s an honor to have them both along for the ride!!

To mark this day, sisters tie a red threaded bracelet around the wrist of their brother and in exchange they are given a gift, and an offer of protection. While traditionally the occasion is celebrated between brothers and sisters, it can also be celebrated between cousins and friends who play that role in our lives

This year for the first time we’re offering Narali Bhath, a sweet coconut rice dish famous in Maharashtra and suggested by my lovely in-laws in Aurangabad as the perfect dish to celebrate. Come through today and tomorrow to try this delicious treat!

Had Misal Pav for lunch yesterday after awhile and forgot how FRIGGIN DELICIOUS it is!! this is a classic Maharashtrian dish made from sprouted dal simmered in a light curry flavored with coconut, tomatoes and onions.

And pro-tip, you can order it the standard way, add extra pav (rolls) for just $1, or have it with rice to make it Vegan and Gluten Free, and still insanely tasty.
